This policy explains what EliteRent collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the EliteRent website and booking platform.
1. Who we are
EliteRent operates EliteRent, a car rental marketplace for Georgia. For questions about your data, contact support@eliterent.ge.
2. What we collect
When you book: your name, phone number, email, date of birth, preferred contact channel, and any comment you add. When you create an account: your email and name. When you apply as a partner: your name, phone, and photos of your ID or passport. We also store your listings, bookings, messages, reviews, and — if you enable them — push-notification tokens. Basic technical logs (IP address, browser) are recorded for security.
3. Why we use it
To run the marketplace: to let owners and renters contact each other about a trip, to confirm eligibility (age and licence), to process bookings and any damage claims, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to send you service messages such as booking updates and password resets.
4. What we share
Your booking contact details are shared with the owner of the car you book (and vice versa) so the trip can happen. We use third-party processors to run the service: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), our email provider for transactional email, and our hosting provider. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Identity documents
Partner ID and passport photos are stored in access-controlled storage and used only to verify car owners. They are not shown publicly and not shared with renters.
6. How long we keep it
Account and booking records are kept while your account is active and for as long as needed to handle disputes, claims, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data; some records may be retained where the law requires.
7. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@eliterent.ge and we will respond. You can also turn off push notifications at any time from your device or browser settings.
8. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work — chiefly to keep you logged in and to remember your language and currency choice. We do not use advertising cookies.
9. Children
EliteRent is not intended for anyone under 18, and renting requires being at least 21.
10. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
